A Message from Father James Bell : Parish Priest
I have been on two Diocesan pilgrimages to Lourdes, and each time I have been profoundly touched by the experience. Lourdes is a place of genuine healing. Whatever we take to the Shrine whether our fears, our ills, our hopes or our tears there is no doubt that “the moving waters....at their priest like task” bring a sense of acceptance, serenity and calm. We can go there to offer ourselves to God, to pray for others, to assist the sick, or simply to have a well-earned rest. Whoever goes will have a gracious experience.
Your presence, dear pilgrim, will be important to God and to all with whom you travel. You will find the Divine Compassion overflowing through the Mysteries of Faith, and the Sorrows, Joys and Glories of the Most Holy Rosary. Please book early and travel with the prayers of us all to support you. Dear friends, pray for us, for our healing and peace. Fr James
